Since October 14 at 19:00 UTC, Codex sessions signed in with ChatGPT can no longer use GPT-5.5. API key sessions are unaffected.
Why it matters. Update workspace defaults, saved settings, custom agents, scheduled tasks and scripts that still select gpt-5.5. OpenAI recommends gpt-6.1-sol.

Gemini 4 Argon is now generally available in the Gemini Enterprise web app, mobile apps and Workflow Builder, with its toggle off until October 27.
Why it matters. Admins who want to test or hold back Argon have until October 27 before the toggle switches on for their users.

Why it matters. Teams can follow Claude calls in the tracing tools they already run instead of building custom logging.

Scheduled deployments, which start Managed Agents sessions on a cron schedule, now work on Claude Platform on AWS.
Why it matters. Each run assumes an IAM role in your account, so set execution_identity on the agent first or deployment creation fails.
